Julie Cardoza is the founder and owner of Wagging Tail Dog Servivces. Julie started Wagging Tail in January of 2014. In 2018 her husband Kevin joined the team. Julie started her dog walking business when she was twelve years old. "I really wanted a bike so I started walking dogs in my neighborhood. I have always loved dogs."

At the age of ten Julie had joined a group at the MSPCA called Bands of Mercy. They taught her how to care for animals and soon she was in business. After graduating from Oliver Ames High School she attended Bridgewater State University. “Knowing I wanted to work with dogs I continued pet sitting on the side.” Her dream job was to become a dog trainer.

After graduating from college Julie accepted a job at a dog training facility. “I was very happy that this training facility used positive reinforcement. From my research I knew this was the best method to use with dogs.” She learned a lot at the facility and soon felt confident enough to continue her dog walking business full time.

In 2014, at the age of 22 Julie started her own business, Wagging Tail Dog Services. “My goal was to help dog owners provide the best possible life for their dog.” She is proud to provide exceptional care while owners are away at work or gone on vacation. “I treat every dog like they are my own,” she says. I provide positive reinforcement dog training, grooming, daycare and playgroups. I also have a dog weight loss program. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a happy dog.”
